Retinol is a derivative, a form of retinoid.

It works by increasing skin turnover, particularly fibroblast which is responsible for producing elastin and maintaining the volume of the skin. This helps to improve conditions involving skin texture, pores, lines, and wrinkles. Retinoids are also known to treat acne by targeting sebum-producing cells. Renewing the skin surface, it prevents clogged pores and inflammation causing acne. Pimple marks tend to fade faster with improved cell renewal, combined with its anti-pigmentary properties.

Vitamin C is one of the most well-studied and proven to be potent anti-oxidants that helps to improve the signs of photo-aging.
We have used Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) as it is a stable form of Vitamin C. MAP is also gentle on the skin making it a safer Vitamin C treatment as Vitamin C can be caustic and cause irritation issues.

In addition to preventing signs of photo-aging, Vitamin C also helps to improve existing fine lines and wrinkles as it is involved in activating enzymes responsible for making collagen and crosslinking it., By doing so it forms a nice firm network, restoring lost volume to the skin.
